Case Study - Aluminum Sound barrier
Client's requirements:
Two sizes of aluminum sound barriers panels are required by our customer: 2500 × 500 × 100 mm and 2000 × 500 × 100 mm, meanwhile, the galvanized H posts and U posts are also needed for installation.
Dimension confirmation:
Aluminum sound barrier panels feature three-layer structure:
Layer 1: Aluminum perforated sheet.
Layer 2: Sound absorbing material infill.
Layer 3: Aluminum sheet.
The standard thickness of aluminum perforated sheets (layer 1 & layer 3) is 1 mm. Custom size is also welcome. Through confirmation, our customer agree the standard size. Meanwhile, since the sound barriers will be installed in coastal areas, we recommend our clients to choose powder coated panels to prevent corrosion.
Regarding the post, normally a steel plate is welded to support sound barrier panels; meanwhile, holes will also be drilled for convenient installation. We confirm that this project is on uneven ground, thus, our customer prefer the post without install holes and plates. They will take care of it when installation.
Production:
Infilling the sound absorbing material.
Pre-installed sound barrier panels.
Powder coating:
Going through powder coating process.
Sound barrier panels after powder coating.
Packing:
Packing with plastic film to anti-scratch.
H & U post with protective plastic films.
Shipment:
Loading into a 20 ft container.
Locking the container.
